Confirmation marks the point in our Christian journey when we affirm for ourselves the faith into which we have been baptised and our intention to live a life of committed discipleship. This affirmation is confirmed through prayer and the laying on of hands by the confirming bishop. The Church also asks God to give us power through the Holy Spirit to enable us to live in the way of Jesus.

It is an important step in every Christian's life, so everyone interested is given the opportunity to learn more by meeting with other candidates and a church leader at what are often known as Confirmation classes.

Adult candidates for confirmation regardless of age are always welcome.

If you have been baptised and you would like to confirm your baptismal vows, please do contact Fr Marius for more information.
